Program
Donate office supplies (paper, pens, etc.)
Donate work clothing (overalls, farm boots, jackets, sweatshirts, caps, socks, hats, gloves).
Support our meal program by purchasing kitchen staples (spices, flour, butter)
Donate cooking supplies (pots, etc.) and equipment (refrigerator, freezer)
Donate your time: teach a workshop or lead a demonstration
Support a participant by purchasing school books
Farm
Donate or fundraise for equipment (for example, we need a truck for deliveries of vegetable donations)
Donate or fundraise for farm equipment maintenance (for example, we have a tractors, but they require regular maintenance)
Donate or fundraise for farm materials and tools (for example, we need wax boxes in order to transport vegetables and we need hand tools)
Donate plants, seeds, soil amendments, blood meal, bone meal, or seaweed/fish emulsion products
Advocacy
Write to our legislators: (Mayor’s Office, Board of Supervisors, Mark Leno, David Pine (President San Mateo County Board of Supervisors), Jared Blumenfeld (EPA Regional Administrator), Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Fienstein, Barbara Boxer, Governor Brown), and let them know you support our work.
